At Scott's English Success, we prepare you if you are wanting to prove their English language abilities in pursuit of a United Kingdom Visa and Immigrate (UKVI) application.
The IELTS Academic and General Training modules have both been designated as acceptable English tests for UKVI:
IELTS | Academic | This test is for test takers wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration in the UK. |
IELTS | General Training | This test is for test takers wishing to migrate to the UK and for those wishing to train or study below degree level. |
Q. Is the IELTS test different if it is taken for UK Visa purposes?
A. There are no differences in the test format or questions. The actual test taken is the same – same content, examiners, format, level of difficulty, scoring and so on.
IELTS for UKVI (Academic) delivered on computer is available at a number of locations in the UK, China, Malaysia, Japan, India, Hong King, Brazil and Nigeria. Test takers who choose this option will take their Listening, Reading and Writing components using a computer. The Speaking test will remain face to face
