Words Students Confuse - Advice and Advise

in Grammar
Advice and Advise
We recently received at Scott's English Success a sentence like the following:Teachers can advice their students to make the right decisions.
This sentence is incorrect because the student used the word advice which is a noun, and not the verb advise.
The sentence should read, "Teachers can advise their students to make the right decisions."
Advise is a regular verb - advise advised advised
Put the right word in the following sentences:
He needed some ________________ about his future plans.
She ______________ her colleagues to avoid the highway.
I _______________ you to improve your English!
The best ________________ I have ever received was to be nice to other people.
