Students often worry about using words from the question in their written Task 1 & 2 answers.
Can you use the same words written in the question in your answer? The short answer is YES.
Why is the answer 'yes'? Well, for a couple of important reasons:
1. Some words simply cannot be written any other way. Take, for example, the word 'Canada'. How else can you write 'Canada'? 'The country above the USA'? That would be silly! 2. Using some of the specific words from the question helps to orient the reader back to your central topic. When you return to certain key words from the question, you make it easier for the reader to follow along. While it's important to show that you can correctly paraphrase, don't be afraid to use some of the key words used in the question.
