How to improve your IELTS, TOEFL & TOEIC listening ability

The people who do well in listening are those who are used to listening to English.  This is something that takes time and can only be built up over time.  A good listener of English is able to follow native speakers and distinguish individual words easily. How do you become a good listener?  You must do a lot of listening!

Spend your time listening to as much English as possible.  Here is a good website for improving your English listening: http://www.abc.net.au/7.30.  As you listen along, read the transcripts.  This will greatly improve your comprehension.
