Cohesive Words

If you use the following words correctly, you will give your writing cohesion.  Cohesion is a big part of your writing score but, be careful: If you use the words below incorrectly, you will lose points.

 

We recommend the following process:

1. Learn the words

2. Search for the words and find examples of when they are used by experts.

3. Practice using them correctly in your own writing.
