I think the world would be a better place if we all ate less meat. Many people in the world think that killing animals is inhumane, and many societies are either vegetarian or eat very little meat.

First, we use a lot of resources to feed big animals like pigs, sheep, or cows which are then killed and processed into food. Animals need water and feed, water which we could be using to raise crops, and feed such as grain which could be used to feed people. In many countries of the world, there is not a lot of good farmland, so raising animals uses resources which could be used for people.

Second, people in the developed world suffer from food-related diseases, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and some cancers caused by eating a lot of meat products.By eating less meat and more fruits and vegetables, we will all be healthier and able to enjoy our lives more.

So, I think we all need to eat less meat.
