Nearly Everyone...?

Read this sentence:

Nearly everyone achieved their desired test score.

Which answer is correct?

A. Everyone achieved their desired score.
B. Most people achieved their desired score.

The answer is B.  Nearly = almost all.  Don't be tricked by the word 'everyone'!
