Re: IELTS Academic Task 1: Essential Vocabulary (Graphs)

Once you have attempted writing the first two paragraphs, check the sample.
Note: before reading our answer, you should try to write your own using the information above. Once you have tried to write your own, read the first 2 paragraphs of our Task 1 response below:
It can be seen that from 2010 to 2012 there was a steady fall in the number of students studying full-time. However, from 2012 to 2013 there was a dramatic increase in full-time student numbers - rising from around 5 to 60. From this point, a significant fall to 40 followed by a slight increase can be seen. The downward trend is expected to continue, with numbers falling from 60 in 2013 to 15 by 2018. There will be a strong recovery from 2018 to 2019 with numbers rising to 50 and this number will remain stable until 2020.

How can we help you best?
Are you looking for IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC help?
What is most important to you on the following list (check all that apply)?
Key #1 for test success
Key #1: You must be disciplined.
It is very important that you develop a study routine and stick to it.
Talking to thousands of students over the years, the most successful students develop a daily, consistent habit of study. At Scott's English we recommend around 3-4 hours/day. We suggest you work your study into your daily routines. For example, travelling on the bus, you can do some exercises on your mobile device. Or listen to an English program while you are walking to work. The point is: re-arrange your boring routines to maximise your study habits. All of this takes a bit of thought and discipline...but the research proves it will pay off well in the end!
