There are 14 different types of questions in the IELTS Reading Test - you should know them all.

Study the table below. 

You will notice that some questions follow the order of the text and some do not.  In other words, the answers follow the order of the information as it is presented/written in the Passage (e.g., if the answer to question 1 is in paragraph 2, then the answer to question 2 will be also in paragraph 2 or paragraph 3, 4, etc.).

Make sure you understand each of these question types so you won't waste one second understanding what you have to do on test day!
